NEW CAMERA LENS?

my dad got this "camera lens" mug as a gift.
i thought it was super neat so i couldn't resist not taking a picture with it.
our house gets stocked up with chocolate from december through to february, so it makes for some yummy hot chocolate!
all you gotta do is heat up a cup of milk in a saucer and then add around half a cup of chocolate
(milk or dark, which ever you prefer).
realistically you can use less chocolate, but why not go all out right?
and there you have it,
a delicious cup of hot chocolate!

and it's even better served inside a cool mug

TOFU LOVIN'

my mom made a yummy post-workout tofu dinner.

this is a perfect dish for you vegetarians out there!

tofu is very versatile and there are many different kinds so it can suite pretty much anyone's taste pallet.

these are only some of the health benefits to tofu:

1. it lowers bad cholesterol

2. it can substitute for meat, however per 150g of lean meat, you need to eat 290g of tofu.

3. tofu is low in fat, calories, and cholesterol.
(per 100g there is only 3.6g of fat, 110 cals, and 0 cholesterol)

4. it is rich in B-vitamins and calcium.

5. tofu reduces the risk of osteoporosis, breast and prostate cancer.

however one thing you need to watch out for when cooking tofu is that it absorbs oil easily. but no need to worry since there are numerous ways to make tofu without using too much oil such as in soups, and stir-fry.

be sure to give tofu a shot, you won't regret it!

BANANA PANCAKES

this is another dish that my dad cooked up:
banana pancakes!

i barely ever get the chance to eat pancakes so i was super stoked when i found out my dad was making this.

it turns out to be super easy to make:

well first you gotta cook up some pancakes

as for the banana's:
this will serve 2-3 people
(depends how much banana you like)

ingredients
2 bananas
1 tbs of butter
1 tbs of brown sugar
1 tbs maple syrup
1 tsp of cinnamon

1. slice 2 banana's the way you desire.
2. put the butter in a pan.
3. heat the butter until it has melted nicely and is slightly brown.
make sure it's really hot!
4. add the bananas.
5. add in the the sugar, cinnamon, and maple syrup.
6. cook for a minute until the banana is cooked and covered in the sauce.
7. serve the sizzling hot bananas on top of your pancake(s).

and there you have it!
